Ruth Nakayima

My name is Ruth, Director of Studies at Prince Joseph Academy. I am proud to work with PJA!!  I am from Mkono, received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the Mukono niversity, and my Masters in Education from Mukono University.  I am certified to teach Secondary and primary schools. This will be my eighth year at PJA after four years at Mustard Seed community school.

I have a true passion for working with our adolescent learners!!  Helping each student progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily.  I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.

Personally, I have been married for 4 glorious years and have three fantastic children who are 16,13, and 5 years old and attend Mustard Seed Community School and PJA.  We love to watch our students’ sports—tennis, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and swim! I also enjoy reading, cooking, music, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with friends and family.

I look forward to working together with you as partners in your student’s growth and development!!
